  • Thoughts on the game?

(KIEFER RAVENA: KR)  I guess you know in the game it was really important for us to play 40 minutes. YOKOHAMA is one of the best teams. They're really fighting for a slot in the wild card for the playoffs, and we're fighting for a spot to stay out of relegation and stay in B1.  So a lot of things at stake and we just wanted to go out there to play 40 minutes of SHIGA LAKES basketball. And we're very fortunate, the blessing of God that we were able to pull out with a victory. Hopefully we can do that again tomorrow. It's going to be tough, but we're going to come out swinging, we're going to come out hard. We don't want to disappoint our fans.

  • Key play of the game?

(KR) For me, I think the key play of the game was a scramble of an offensive rebound and one of our guys with Moriyama, with Mori tipped it outside and I passed it to Kai and he hit a big three. I know Kai is a big shot maker, but if not for the efforts of Mori, we won't be able to make that. And with Kai making it, it's not a surprise because he's a great player and things like that everybody stepping out from the bench. We really need it. So I think that was the big play of the game.

  • What was the key for tonight's win?

(KR) I think the key place that helped us in today's game is with Yuki Kawamura. He had 27 points, but you know, he made 22 shots out of it. 8 for 22. With a great player like that, you cannot stop him. You can just contain him and make him shoot tough shots. He ended up with 25 or 27 points at the end of the day, but it's a good plus for us. I think that was a big key and really being physical with also a physical team, we have to match their energy. We have to match their physicality for us to be able to compete. And that's what we need to do tomorrow again.

  • What has been your motivation in these past games?

(KR) I mean just really locking in, really dedicating my game to the man up there. Julie been guiding me all throughout new sense of faith and relationship with god, especially being out here alone. I know that I can always count on him, and I think that's the only reason, if not for him, if not for his guidance, I won't be able to be here with the push of my coaching staff, my family back home, my loved ones. And I'm also dedicating this to my late uncle who just passed away and just playing hard. So I know that he's guiding me and watching me up there with the lord. So hopefully I can continue this growth in myself. And again, with the consistent play that I have, I owe it up to him.

  • What are your thoughts on Yuki Kawamura?

(KR) Yuki Kawamura, I mean there's really not much a lot you can do to stop the guy. He's a young player who's very hungry, wants to be very competitive, and I guess just matching his energy and his competitiveness is one way to really compete with him. Don't be fooled by his size. You know the the guy has a big heart. He's a future of the B.LEAGUE, and he can flat out play. So I'm not really focused on just him. It's a team sport, and I'm sure that's what he's going to say as well. And we want to win as a team, and we got to do it as a team, and that's what we're going to do tomorrow again.
